My family's story starts in a small town in Harrisburg County Missouri. The blacksmith shop was owned by my great‑great-great grandfather, who after retiring, gave it to Jessie — the town blacksmith who shaped steel, tools, wagon parts, and the work ethic that still defines us today. Jessie's son — my grandpa — left school in the eighth grade to start his apprenticeship in that shop. Arloe's dad Otho had to leave work after he lost two fingers on a table saw! That was my families first lesson: power tools demand respect
